My students and their parents both agree that learning how to
play piano can be an extremely rewarding experience for a child, with benefits that extend far into adult life. From improving math skills, attention span, concentration, and providing stress outlet, to developing patience, good memory and problem solving abilities. Learning piano can have a profound positive influence on child’s development.
I have taught in Russia, and currently teach in
Los Angeles for
over 25 years. Many of my students who started at an early age (5-6 years old) studied until graduating high school, and now attend some of the best universities. - I welcome all levels of piano students, from beginner (5-6 years old), to advanced. I teach music from different periods like Baroque, Classical, Romantic, Contemporary, and by various great composers like Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Chopin, Joplin, Rachmaninov, Schubert, and many others.
- My students perform in competitions, festivals, and recitals.
- My home studio is located in Los Angeles, near intersection of Highland Ave.and Santa Monica Blvd. My students come from different parts of Los Angeles, Westwood, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica and other vicinities.
- Every one of my students receives dedicated and unique learning experience that addresses their learning abilities and musical taste.
- My students participate in MTAC Certificate of Merit Program, which evaluates their progress and skill in performance, technique, ear training, sight reading and written theory.
- My more experienced students receive branch honor recognition and perform at MTAC Conventions.
