My students and their parents both agree that learning how to play piano can be an extremely rewarding experience for a child, with benefits that extend far into adult life. From improving math skills, attention span, concentration, and providing stress outlet, to developing patience, good memory and problem solving abilities. Learning piano can have a profound positive influence on child’s development.

I have taught in Russia, and currently teach in Los Angeles for over 25 years. Many of my students who started at an early age (5-6 years old) studied until graduating high school, and now attend some of the best universities. Below is some general information about my studio. Feel free to explore the site and contact me about time availability if you are considering having your child learn how to play this wonderful instrument:

"I'm much older now, but I still love to play piano. My piano has been my friend in good times and bad. I can sit down to play and get totally lost in a song. I'm forever grateful that I can play, it brings so much joy into my life." read discussion...
