My studio usually conducts two recitals each year. The recitals last about one and a half hours and provide a fun environment for students to show off their work, meet and see how both older and younger students perform. Parents often choose to take photographs or videotape the recitals. Students play at all levels, and the recitals are usually followed by a brief award ceremony and refreshments, where both parents and students have an opportunity to socialize and reflect on the performance in a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.
